Unicorn were founded in 1937 when Frank Lowy created the 'Silver Comet' darts, the first precision made set of darts. In 1949 Unicorn became the first company to sell darts classified by actual weight and in 1972 introduced the first commercial Tungsten darts. Unicorn have been used by many world champions over the years including current player Gary Anderson and Raymond van Barneveld.
